Asthitvam began its journey in the year 2015. Here is a brief presentation of our work rendered towards the Five Elements. In the year 2015 and 2016, we organized Rainwater Harvesting Workshop in Chodavaram and Vaddadi Villages of Andhra Pradesh. Tata Wiron helped us for organizing a Session on Alternate Farming. Job fair for the unemployed youth was conducted in the same year.
Asthitvam religiously distributed Basil plants at every activity. Session on Importance of Planting Trees was conducted for the Girls and Plantation Drive was organized at Kasturba Girls Residential School, Vaddadi, Andhra Pradesh.
On 10th December, 2016 – Asthitvam conducted a session on Human Rights at Sanathnagar for Grade- 6 to 8th. Seventy students participated.
In 2017, we conducted Essay Writing Competition on the topic ‘Preservation of Natural Resources’ at the Government Degree College for Women, Begumpet and Certificates were given to the winners.
Dancing, Singing and Essay Writing Competitions on ‘My Nature’ were conducted at Loyola Convent, Saroornagar. Certificates and prizes were distributed.
In 2018, Colour filling Competition was conducted at Hyderabad Special School for students with Intellectual Disability. Prizes and Certificates were distributed.
On 12th August, 2018- Asthitvam participated in ‘Aadab Hyderabad.’ This was organized on International Youth Day at Necklace Road. It was about Instameet being organized by I-PAC in collaboration with UNESCO.
On 14th November, 2018- Asthitvam conducted a Colour filling Competition for the students of Sri Asha Rehabilitation Centre, Sanathnagar- a Special School for Intellectually Disabled Children. Certificates and gifts were distributed to each and every child.
On 2nd May, 2019- Asthitvam visited Ibrahimpatnam-Rural Genius Camp conducted by GSF- Gnana Saraswathi Foundation. Shri. Medepally Srinivas-Vice President Asthitvam addressed the Students on Importance of Values, Education and Environment.
On 5th June, 2019- Plantation drive was organized at Government College of Physical Education, Telangana. Students actively participated and planted 50 plants on the Campus.
On 14th November,2019-Asthitvam conducted an Awareness Session on the Afforestation for the students of Vivekananda Convent High School, Hyderabad.
On 25th August, 2020- Asthitvam announced a call for Poems on pandemic.
Kavisammelan was conducted in Zoom. Children and grown-ups participated. It was the first online event for us. People did cooperate well. 50 participants read their poems. All were given participation certificates and the results were announced on 29th August.
In November 2020- Asthitvam collaborated with Sri Krishna Priya Gauseva Samithi at Uppal. It aims to work for the welfare of the Cows.
On 3rd December, 2020- Asthtivam organized a Zoom Meeting on ONLINE TEACHING METHODS FOR CHILDREN WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABLITY on World Disability Day. Special Educators and mothers of children with Intellectual Disability participated. There shared their experience during the pandemic and suggested few tips to make things easy for Educators to reach such children through Online Classes.
On 5th March, 2022- Asthitvam conducted an Awareness Session on the Topic-Five Elements at Government Physical Education College, Basheerbagh.
Asthitvam initiated the Asthitvam State Award in the category of the Environmentalist in 2022.
Environmentalist of the year, 2022- Shri Peddireddi Uday Krishna (The Treeman of India).
On 25th May, 2022-Asthitvam distributed books to children in Dommalaguda Basti in Summer Camp. Drawing Competition on topics ‘Nature’ and ‘My Favourite Toy’ were conducted.
On 14th November, 2022- Asthitvam conducted Essay Writing Competition on the topic ‘What measures can be taken for Conservation of the Environment’ for Grades V to VII at MPUPS Chirrakunta. It was conducted in Asifabad Mandal of district Kumram Bheem. Participation Certificates and Prizes were distributed.
On 3rd December, 2022- World Disability Day was celebrated at Gnamas Special School for children of Intellectually Disability. Rally was taken from the School to Rythu Bazaar and way back to School. 40 Disabled students participated. 20 participants were teachers, parents and other staff. Drawing competition was conducted.
On 10th December, 2022- World Human Rights Day Asthitvam conducted a Online Legal Awareness Zoom Meeting on the Topic “ To promote Dignity, Respect and Freedom for All”.
On 20th October, 2023 – President of Asthitvam in association with Action Aid Association as a Resource person did Awareness sessions on Child Rights, WASH-Sustainable Goal 6, Menstrual Hygiene and Menstrual Management. Few girl students from grade 8th and 9th were chosen in GGHS Maisaram, as Girl Leaders and they were trained and these in turn trained the other girls in the Schools. The Session included safe and unsafe water and its uses. Orientation on Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. WASH-Safe Drinking Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.
On 20th November, 2023 -Orientation to girl child leaders on Menstrual Management. The girls were trained to operate Unused Sanitary from the Napkin box and to dispose used napkin.
On 7th December, 2023_ Asthitvam conducted a Session on Personal Hygiene at Pragathi Vidya Niketan- 300 girls participated.
On 29th January, 2024 – Members of Asthitvam Ms. Manjula and Ms. Krishnaveni were invited as Judges for the Competition for Eco Club students conducted by Telanagana State National Corps, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate change.
On 21st February, 2024- Asthitvam gave it Asthitvam State Awards to the following Environmentalists.

On 22nd February, 2024- Gallery workshop for the students of GGHS Maisaram was conducted on Child rights.
On 14th August, 2024 -Asthitvam conducted a Counselling Session for girls at Rainbow Homes, Musheerabad. Pyschologist De. P. Jyothi Raja addressed the students and interacted with them. The students were motivated to Caring for the Planet.
In September, 2024 -Asthitvam conducted Drawing Competition and a session on Ganesha Clay Modelling whichwas collaborated by National Green Corps at Pragathi Vidya Niketan Girls hostel. It was on the occasion of Ozone Day. 500 students participated and took an oath to Save Earth.
In September, 2024 – Asthitvam along with National Green Crops conducted Clay Ganesh Campaign @ SC Girls hostel, Kavadiguda on 6th September, 2024 and gave prizes to the winners.
On 25th November, 2024- Awareness conducted a session on Child Rights on International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women at Rainbow Homes, Musheerabad.
On 10th December, 2024 –Asthitvam on International Human Rights Day organized an Essay Writing Competition and an Awareness Session for students of KGK Vidya Bhavan School, Gandhi Nagar. The event aimed to educate and sensitize students about the importance of human rights and their role in promoting a culture of respect, empathy and inclusivity.

On 6th April, 2025- Asthitvam and Voice for Welfare organised a “Awareness Session” on Menstrual Hygiene for Girls at Blue Foundation Home for Girls at Lalapet. Sanitary Pads were distributed and Drawing Competition was conducted on the present burning topic at Hyderabad.
On 5th June, 2025- Asthitvam conducted an Awareness session on ‘Afforestation and its Need’, for the hostiers at Pragathi Vidya Niketan.
On 16th September, 2025- Asthitvam in collaboration with NSS Unit, Nizam College, OYSTER NGO and CGR (Council for Green Revolution) conducted an activity of SEED BALL making at the Volleyball Court, Nizam College. Students actively participated. NSS Units from St. Anns and few other colleges participated in the event.
On 17th September, 2025 – Asthitvam in collaboration with NSS Unit, Nizam College, OYSTER NGO and CGR (Council for Green Revolution) conducted an activity of SEED BALL making at the Avinash College. Students, faculty and non-teaching staff participated in the Seed ball making activity and we reached our target.
On 24th September, 2025- Seed balls making initiated PLANTATION Drive. Ms. Madhavi, our member Coordinator for this Project and Principal, Pragathi Vidya Niketan took the first step by motivating Students of Grade X of Pragathi Vidya Niketan to plant 200 seed balls within the School Campus….. The busy bees involved with a spirit of joy and included it in their Cultural Day of the month.
On 14th October, 2025-Asthitvam and MLR Foundation’s Seed Balls Sowing activity took off at Mittagudipadu MPUP School, Palnadu District Andhra Pradesh. Teachers and Students participated with enthusiasm.
On 1st November, 2025- Asthitvam and MLR Foundation’s Seed Balls Sowing activity was conducted at KGB School in Mittagudipadu Village, Rentachintala mandal, Palnadu District, Andhra Pradesh.
On 2nd November, 2025- Asthitvam and Lead Foundation conducted an Awareness Session on Need and importance of Afforestation along with distribution of Seed Balls at ZPHS Boys High School, Narsampet and Lead Foundation’s Library.
On 3rd November, 2025- Asthitvam and MLR Foundation’s together organized Seed Balls Sowing and distributing activity was conducted at Pallavi rural village. Seed balls were distributed.
On 25th November, 2025- Asthitvam and MLR Foundation’s Seed Balls distributing activity was conducted at different locations at Rentachintala. 200 seed balls were distributed to 100 people.
In January, 2026 Workshop was conducted on Creative Writing, Speaking and Drawing Skills on topics of their choice and Debate was conducted on ‘Deforestation is a positive stride towards Development’ @ Rentachintala, Palnadu District, Hyderabad. Certificates were given by Asthitvam to 300 Students belonging to Tribal Welfare School, Gurukulam High School, ZPHS Government High School, Balavikas High School, Prathima Vidya Nikethan and St Joseph Aided School.
On 21st February, 2026-Asthitvam gives its State Award in the category of Environmentalist to Dr. Satyanarayana SN Sarma.
