PROJECT- INITIATION OF LIBRARIES

Asthitvam decided to set up 108 Libraries for Orphans, Unprivileged children, etc. Our first initiative began on 9^th August, 2021 at Anaadha Vidyarthi Griha- L. B.Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana. 1000 books were given.

The second initiative took off on 19^th October, 2021at Anganwadi School, Ambedkar Nagar, Kavadiguda.

On 17^th August, 2022- Asthitvam gave books on personal development to Government College of Physical Education.

In the month of August, Asthitvam team initiated 22 Libraries in Government Schools of Warangal and 12 in Hyderabad. Asthitvam Team in Warangal was headed by Shri. Ashok Thirunagari and rwo lakh books were collected along with Perana Foundation. District Collector and District Educational Officer participated in the giving away of books to the Schools.

On 9^th November, 2021-Legal Awareness Camp was organised and Library books were given for the Study Centre of Life’s Foundation for Slum Children at Singereni Colony.

On 5^th February, 2023-Lyness Club donated 1000 books for the Project-Libraries.

On 17^th April, 2023 – Smt. Mandapati Nirmala supported us by giving 58 dictionaries.

On 21^st April, 2023 Asthitvam flagged off Project-Library@Asifabad Mandal. Four Libraries were initiated on 21st April, 2023 by members Shri. Eslavath Dhanraj, Shri Vikram Rao, Shri. Mallesh, Shri Prasad and Shri. Thirupathi.

On 1^st July, 2023- Shri. Harish garu-Dachepalli Publishers contributed 1000 books towards Project-Establishment of Libraries in the State of Telangana. On 30^th August, 2023-Asthitvam collaborated with Akshara Foundation (Suryapet) towards Initiation of 34 Libraries in Suryapet District began on 29th August, 2023. It is the 1st together but the number is 43rd Library at PS Kuda Kuda. Municipal Councilors: Smt. Vemulakonda Padma and Shri. Alimineti Abhinay attended the event.

On 4^th September, 2023-Shri. Ujwal Manepalli, Smt. Sireesha, Smt. Deepti Jeedigunta, Smt. Lata Jeedigunta, Shri. Kalyan, Smt.Thota Rani and Team, Smt. Rama Devi, Smt. Manjusha, Smt. Durga, Smt. Sowjanya garu, Smt. Sunitha, Shri. Abdul, Smt. Nagalakshmi, Shri. Vishal, Shri. Phani and Shri. Gautam to have contributed books for the established 25 Libraries in Telangana.

On 21^st September, 2023-Asthitvam’s focus was on initiating 108 Libraries in the State of Telangana but the idea of working in the neighbouring State was initiated by Shri. Uday Krishna Peddiredddi of VATA Foundation. Due to unforeseen situation VATA Foundation couldn’t take the work forward. And then it was Vidhayak Bharti- A Child Rights Advocacy Initiative and its Founder Trustee Shri. Santosh Shinde-Ex-Member of Maharashtra State Commission for the Protection of Child Rights and a Trainer of Rights and Juvenile Justice Acts, NISD-National Institute for Social Defence, Member on editorial board of the Ujjwal News, etc. that collaborated with us in taking it forward. Books were given to Schools with Tribal students.

On 26^th September, 2023- Asthitvam distributed Teaching Learning Materials, games, handouts, stationary and books at the Women Rehabilitation Center at Institute of Mental Health by Sayodhya Foundation, Erragadda. Legal Awareness was conducted and Honourable Secretary of District Legal Services Authority, Smt. KalaArchana garu participated in the event.

On 9^th October, 2023- Asthitvam distributed Teaching Learning Materials, games, handouts and books for 9 Anganwadi Centers on 3rd October, 2023 in Singereni Colony. Honourable Secretary of District Legal Services Authority, Smt. KalaArchana garu participated in the event.

On 10^th November, 2023-Asthitvam initiated its 107th and 108th Library at Girls and Boys Hostels of Pragathi Vidya Niketan School at Pragati Nagar Hyderabad on 10th November.

On 27^th February, 2024-Asthitvam contributed 1700 books to Oyster NGO who established Library- Ambedkar Vignana Kendram at Saloora Village, Mandal-Saloora, Bodhan, Nizamabad. This is 109^th Library initiation by Asthitvam.

 

On 5^th September, 2024- Asthitvam initiated a Library at Malkajgiri, Hyderabad. The Library was opened on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. It has a collection of books pertaining to grades Nursery to 10, Intermediate, Graduation and Post-Graduation in streams Management, Medical, Engineering, Special Education, Accounts and Spirituality. There is a collection of Teaching Learning materials useful for Teachers. Mr. Kalyan has been kind enough to accommodate over 1000 books in three rooms for the Library at his residence.

In November, 2025, Shri. E.D.Nagaraju garu supported us in our Project-Initiation of Libraries by donating 3500 books.

On 6^th January, 2026-Asthitvam’s Project-Initiation of Libraries takes its strides towards 130th and 131st Libraries at Neredu Village, Chintakani Mandal, Khammam District, Telangana.

On 2^nd February, 2026- Asthitvam initiated its 132^nd Library in Government Primary School, Gandhinagar Village, Khammam district, Telangana.

On 16^th March, 2026-Asthitvam initiated its 133^rd Library in Pandilapalli Zilla Parishad High School, Khammam district,Telangana.
