On occasion of International Women’s Day, Asthitvam Competitions in Kho-Kho, Tennicoit, Ramp Walk and Singing were conducted for Students of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Open University Study Center-Government Degree College, Begumpet. Prizes were distributed along with Certificates.

Asthitvam along with Thalka Trust Felicitated Ms. Sajida Khan- first Indian Woman to be an Audio Engineer and Music Composer for have received Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Samarik Seva Ratna Award- 2016.


May, 2016-Asthitvam supported and sponsored Mrs. Lavanya Goud-International Power lifter for the Asian Powerlifting Games held at Udaipur in June 2016.
She won four Gold Medals and was the Strongest Woman in Asia-2016.


Monetary support was extended to Ms.Lavanya and seeing off at the railway station.
She kept up to our expectation and won the Asian Powerlifting Championship-2016.
June, 2016- Ms. Lavanya Goud the Asian Powerlifting Championship-2016.
Asthitvam organised a Press Meet at Somajiguda Press Club and felicitated her. Amount of Rs. 5 Lakhs was processed by recommending her file with Shri Jelagam Prasad garu MLA. A life Insurance policy and website www.lavanyagoud.com was gifted by Asthitvam.

28th March, 2017
Asthitvam along with Matru Devoh Bhavah Foundation hosted Udagi Puraskaras.
The awards were given on 28th March at NSS Club. Eleven successful men and women from different fields were awarded. Dinner was served.



On 14th May, 2017-Asthitvam and Matru Devoh Bhavah organized and conducted the event. Mother’s Day was celebrated on May 14th at Somajiguda Press Club. It was honoured by Shri Venugopala Chary- Advisor for the State of Telangana and others. Mothers of eminent Social workers, Writers, Lyricist, Doctors etc were felicitated and awarded Smt. Lakshmi Devi Awards.





On 5th June, 2017- Asthitvam In 2017, conducted Essay Writing on the topic ‘Preservation of Natural Resources’ at the Government Degree College for Women, Begumpet and Certificates were given to the winners.

On 1st March, 2018-Asthitvam felicitated poetess Smt. Dashyam Madhavi. Her book ‘Bhava Lehari’ was released on this day. The poetess stays in US. Her parents were felicitated on the occasion.


On 8th March, 2018-Asthitvam along with Matrudevobhava Sath Sang organised International Women’s Day. They awarded and felicitated eleven women belonging to different fields. The list included a child prodigy.

23rd March, 2019- Asthitvam got Neuro-surgery done of a two months old baby which was an emergency. The child was the baby of Smt. Husna Begum and the surgery was performed at Vasavi Hospital. Shri. Anke Chiranjeevi Reddy –member of Asthitvam took the responsibility and got the surgery done at free of cost.

On 14th November, 2019-Asthitvam conducted an Awareness Session on the Afforestation for the Girl students of Vivekananda Convent High School, Hyderabad.

In June, 2020- Asthitvam contributed Rs. 10,000/- towards health issues of an Orphan Girl from Bala Vikas Home for Destitute Children, Kachivarisingaram. Groceries to the same Orphanage consisting of 30 children were organised. Whenever required they have been coordinating with the President of the Orphanage and extending help.

Asthitvam started funding for the medicines of Kumari Sahithi who underwent a
Heart surgery. Medicines and groceries for the family are being supplied by
Asthitvam NGO. Groceries were delivered not in monthly basis but only when they needed.

Most of the awareness sessions were done placing the women and girl child in view. Adolescence is one area we have been working.
Rescue Operation
On 21st July 2021- Mr. Praveen Kumar, Member of Legal Wing of Asthitvam received a call from Mr. X from Kolkata, seeking help to save his sister(Ms. Y) who was detained at the State Home. Mr. Praveen along with Ms. Manjula-President of Asthitvam and PLV for TSLSA went and met the SI at Police Station and approached the Incharge at State Home. Ms. Y’s husband had made a false allegation and she was detained illegally. We sttod by her and saw to it that she was released. Later, we accompanied her to the airport. Ms.Y flew back to her parents and the same was inform to us.

9th March, 2023 -Asthitvam and Lyness Samskruthi Club together organized Women’s Day Celebrations at Government Physical Education College, Basheerbagh.
Competitions in Essay Writing, Debate, Singing and Dancing were conducted and prizes were distributed. Senior Social Workers Smt. Bharathi garu, Smt. Annapurna garu and Smt. Padmavathi garu were felicitated.






On 20th October, 2023 – President of Asthitvam in association with Action Aid Association as a Resource person did Awareness sessions on Child Rights, WASH-Sustainable Goal 6, Menstrual Hygiene and Menstrual Management. Few girl students from grade 8th and 9th were chosen in GGHS Maisaram, as Girl Leaders and they were trained and these in turn trained the other girls in the Schools. The Session included safe and unsafe water and its uses. Orientation on Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. WASH-Safe Drinking Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.



On 20th November, 2023 -Orientation to girl child leaders on Menstrual Management. The girls
were trained to operate Unused Sanitary from the Napkin box and to dispose used napkin.
On 7th December, 2023_ Asthitvam conducted a Session on Personal Hygiene at Pragathi Vidya Niketan- 300 girls participated.

Rescued a girl aged 24 in Chintal area. She was being forced into prostitution by her mother. As the girl was major and employed. She was shifted to a working women’s hostel. Most of the awareness session conducted by Asthitvam was for the girls child and women.
On 22nd February, 2024- Gallery workshop for the students of GGHS Maisaram was conducted on Child rights.



On 14th August, 2024 -Asthitvam conducted a Counselling Session for girls at Rainbow
Homes, Musheerabad. Pyschologist De. P. Jyothi Raja addressed the students and interacted with them. The students were motivated to Caring for the Planet.

In September, 2024 -Asthitvam conducted Drawing Competition and a session on Ganesha Clay Modelling whichwas collaborated by National Green Corps at Pragathi Vidya Niketan Girls hostel. It was on the occasion of Ozone Day. 500 girl students participated and took an oath to Save Earth.




In September, 2024 – Asthitvam along with National Green Crops conducted Clay Ganesh Campaign @ SC Girls hostel, Kavadiguda on 6th September, 2024 and gave
prizes to the winners.


On 25th November, 2024- Awareness conducted a session on Child Rights on International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women at Rainbow Homes, Musheerabad.

Asthitvam NGO sponsored OT Table for Community Health Center, Konta (Sukma District) Chhattisgarh which is initiated by Samaritans For The Nation NGO. Community Health Center, where healthcare teams are committed to saving lives during gynecological surgeries and emergency deliveries. With this essential equipment, the CHC can strengthen its operation theater facilities, enabling doctors and healthcare providers to perform life-saving interventions for tribal mothers.
